Orchard fun!

Last month we visited an awesome orchard! Maya got to try out her new wagon. It was very crowded!

She loved looking at all the animals.









And the pretty flowers. She wanted to grab them all.







There was barely enough room for her at the end of the day! We picked up pumpkins, apples, cider, and apple butter. Then we grabbed some lunch and headed home!

13 months + Halloween

Halloween was pretty uneventful this year. Maya's still too little to appreciate trick or treating, so we opted to stay in and hand out candy to the little ghosts who came to our door. Maya stayed in her costume for about 10 minutes before she was done. The sunglasses were her idea.

Happy Birthday again!

Maya's 2nd first birthday party was held September 28th at Sycamore Park in Carmel. It was yet again a rainy day, but the rain stopped not long after the party started. Thanks to Uncle Jeffrey for most of these photos!

Maya and Owen played in her ball pit til the rain stopped.







After things dried out, she enjoyed the swings:





Friends and family enjoyed the park.


















And of course at the end of the day, Maya was exhausted!

12 months

We're knee-deep in the putting-things-in-and-taking-things-out phase.





We're also into doing the Downward Dog a lot.





And we've been struggling with naps too. Maya's not quite ready to give up her morning nap yet, but she fights it and has pushed it back by a few hours. This often leads to her falling asleep in odd places, like on our way back from the playground...



Or while sitting on the couch.



When she's awake though, she loves to dance!!
