Happy First Birthday, Maya!

Maya turned one on September 7th! We held her first (of two) party at her Aunt Laurie's house in the Albany area on the 6th. It was a humid, rainy day, but the kids didn't seem to mind. Unfortunately, we were so busy all day that we didn't get many pictures. Thanks to Sara for some of these! We apparently have lots of video that will, in theory, be uploaded and put up here.

We started the party by hanging with family. And Brody.

And then Maya's friends arrived. We didn't get pictures of Robbie or Abbey, but here's Isabella.

After pizza, we finally had cake. Yum.
Maya was exhausted after not napping.



She promptly passed out as soon as we left.



We crashed at a hotel, and the next morning Maya explored the room.









Then we headed home.



She read one of her new books!



When we got home, Maya played with some of her new toys and books (THANKS everyone!).




And then mom let her have some mac and cheese for lunch! Yum! Happy Birthday!
